This policy explains what information Construct Review (“we”, “us”) collects when you use construct-review.com, how we use it, and how advertising and affiliate links work on this site. This is the policy for the English edition; the Japanese edition has its own policy in Japanese, linked at the bottom of this page.

Information we collect
Information you send us. If you contact us by email, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you, to improve the site, and where required by law.
Usage data. We use Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC) to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are read and how visitors arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this traffic data. It does not tell us who you are. You can block this collection by disabling cookies in your browser or by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except with your consent, with service providers that help us run the site (such as hosting and analytics), or where disclosure is required by law.
Advertising and affiliate links
Construct Review participates, or may participate, in affiliate programs. This means some links on the site may be affiliate links: if you click one and then sign up for or buy a product, we may receive a commission from the vendor or affiliate network, at no extra cost to you.
Programs we use or may use include affiliate networks such as PartnerStack and PayKickstart, affiliate programs run directly by software vendors, and, for the Japanese edition, Japanese affiliate service providers such as Moshimo Affiliate, A8.net, and Access Trade. These partners may use cookies or similar technologies to record that a visit or purchase came from our site.
As of September 2026, the English edition has no active affiliate partnership with any product it reviews, and all outbound links in the English edition are plain links. When a page contains affiliate links, it will say so clearly before those links appear.
Our editorial rules for paid relationships:
- Commissions never decide which products we cover, how we rank them, or what we say about them.
- We publish drawbacks for every product, including products we earn money from.
- We don’t accept payment for placement or positive reviews.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses cookies for analytics and, where affiliate links are present, for affiliate tracking by our partners. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not prevent you from reading the site.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information you have sent us, such as an email. Contact us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws.
Children
This site is written for construction business owners and professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when we join a new affiliate program. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
